Pet Friendly Cabin Information

Bring Fido Along

Now a days, more and more guests are choosing to travel with their beloved family pooch! After all, little scruffy or tootsie is part of the family dynamics and it would be heart wrenching to leave him/her behind. It’s tough to watch as you walk out on them, see them climb up the couch, up to the window, their little noses pushed up against the glass, brushing away the curtains...

That’s why Gold Rush Resort Rentals is pleased to offer our guests Pet Friendly Big Bear Cabins. We have some great choices and are ready to help you find the one that is perfect for you.

There's just something about traveling with a companion, especially the canine kind and this isn't one of those hush-hush-type vacations. If they run, jump, swim, and play just like you do, they're in for the adventure of a lifetime. Many of the things you'd want to do in Big Bear Lake are things that are even more fun with a furry companion.

Big Bear is a special place that offers many areas to explore. There are numerous parks throughout Big Bear Lake to take advantage of wide open spaces. We have hiking trails that you may choose to venture which is a great opportunity to bring Fido along. Walk along the Alpine Pedal Path, Grand View Point Trail, or Grays Peak Trail and take in the fresh mountain air or the San Bernardino National Forest.

Have you seen the picture of the dog on the stand-up paddleboard with his owner, just sitting as the owner paddles the two across the lake? Water activities are always much more fun with man's best friend. All Big Bear Lake beaches along Highway 36 are dog friendly, you can get there by taking the Alpine Pedal Path, view the address below.
