Keep in mind, all of our properties are privately owned. Some owners choose not to participate at all and some choose to participate intermittently in the bidding program, therefore, not all properties are available for bidding consideration 100% of the time.
Although our advertised prices are at an excellent value, by placing your last minute bid on an available property 21 days prior to your arrival, you may receive incredible savings on your next stay!
Do understand that by placing a bid, Gold Rush Resort Rentals does not guarantee acceptance of a rental. All bids submitted will reviewed against what the standard advertised cost for the rental would be. Once a bid is considered to be a reasonable bid to consider you will be contacted from our reservation team.
Please Note: The bidding price does not include towel service or the city imposed taxes. Taxes will be in addition to your bid and will be added to the final bill. You will also have the opportunity to add the cost of towel service.
Towel Service: The towel service includes 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, and 1 bath towel for the entire occupancy of the cabin you will be staying at. The pricing is $5.00 per set based on the occupancy of the cabin. If the cabin sleeps 6 - your pricing would be $30.00 for the service. We do not provide a-la-carte pricing such as, a cabin sleeps 6 but only two are staying, therefore, you only want a set of towels for 2. If this is the case, you will need to decide whether or not you want the service as there is no provision to make pricing adjustments.

How the Bidding Process Works:
Single Bidders:
Once a bid has been submitted, Gold Rush Resort Rentals will review the offer against what the standard advertised cost for the rental would be. Once a bid is considered to be a reasonable bid you will be contacted from our reservation team.
Once the bid is accepted an agreement reflecting the winning bid amount plus city taxes and/or your choice in adding towel service will be sent to the winning bidder for proper execution and final payment. This process should not exceed a 24 hour turn around. The property will remain open to additional bids until final payment is received.
No property will be taken out of the inventory calendar or the bidding process without payment in full, therefore, there can be more than one bid for the same dates on the same property.
Multiple Bidders:
In the event there are multiple bids in process, depending upon the amount of time prior to the date of occupancy, bidders must respond no later than a 24 hour turn around when contacted by our office in order to help the bidding process run quickly and efficiently for all involved. Non response within 24 hours will be deemed as a withdrawal of the bid.
In the event that another/multiple bid(s) comes in during the process, the new bidder(s) will be informed that another bid(s) is also in place and asked if they want to up their bid if they are the lower bid. The previous bidder(s) will also be notified that another bid(s) has been submitted for review.
Each/All bidders will have an opportunity to submit another bid. Responding in a prompt amount of time is essential during the bidding process as it can make the difference of winning the bid or not.
Sending the Agreement:
Once an agreement has been sent it must be properly executed and paid in full immediately for the bidding process to be complete. If the winning bidder does not respond in the time allotted then it goes to the next highest bidder by default and continues until the bidding processed is finalized and closed. Until such time, the home will remain open to additional bids.
Two Bids in the Same Amount:
If there are two bids of the same amount, both bidders will be sent an agreement and the winning bidder will be the bidder who returns a fully executed document with final payment first. So, time is always of the essence.
Helpful Hints to increase your odds for a lucky strike:
- Choose more than one range of dates to stay.
- Be flexible in the properties you will consider.
- 3. Because timing is of the essence once a bid is in place, make sure to enter your correct contact information, both email and phone number in order to meet the guidelines as set forth in the policies above.
We highly suggest designating multiple date ranges without designating any specific property and allow our prospectors to do some digging around to find a match. All accepted bids must be paid in full within 24 hours of acceptance and are non-refundable per our cancellation policy. CSA Trip insurance can be purchased. You are now ready to place your bid. Important Information
Although you have the right to place any bid on any available property, it is advisable to refer to the normal advertised rates before placing your bid. Please note additional fees will apply such as transient occupancy and resort assoc. tax (11% total), reservation processing, damage waiver, and a departure cleaning fee (varies upon size) will be added to your accepted bid.
To help save even more money you are able to "opt out" of our towel service. Each homes towel service varies based upon occupancy. You may view the specific cost of each home by going into the home and calculating rates to see the cost.
Please follow these easy steps to place your bid:
- If you are interested in only one property, please check out our availability calendar to see if the property you desire is available for your vacation dates.
- Bids are not accepted more than 21 days of arrival.
- Minimum stay requirements vary depending upon non-holiday or holiday stays. Please check the minimum nights required prior to submitting your bid. Minimum stays requirements will need to be adhered to in order for the bid to be accepted.
- To place your bid, please completely fill out the form below. Bids will not be accepted without a completed form of information.
- Make sure the requirements of steps 1 - 4 meet the accepted criteria.
- SUBMIT
- Gold Rush Resort Rentals will review your bid and either accept it or place a counter offer as soon as possible.
- Once your bid is accepted, you will receive an agreement to rent at the winning bid plus applicable fees as mentioned above, which will need to be signed and paid for in order to confirm the reservation. The total amount due must be paid within 24 hrs. of acceptance and is non-refundable per our cancellation policy. CSA Trip Insurance can be purchased. If not paid within the allocated time the bid will expire and a re-bid must take place.
- Bidding stays open until full payment is received. Make sure your contact information is correct before submitting your bid!
- Then you just need to enjoy your vacation and the great savings!
